Legislative Pages

Working as a page is an excellent way for students to learn more about the legislative process. Cindy will be happy to submit names of interested and deserving young men and ladies from District 18 to have the opportunity to serve as pages. Please keep in mind that available slots fill up quickly, and requests should be made as far in advance as possible.

Pages must be at least 12 years of age.  The Kansas Legislative Page program is generally designed for students in middle school or the first years of high school.  Individuals selected for this program must have a ride to and from the Capitol.  On the day they serve as a legislative page, they arrive by 8:30 a.m. and stay until 3:45 p.m.  Pages will be expected to dress and conduct themselves appropriately.

Please use the following form to nominate an individual to serve as a page. In the “Applicant Summary” field please provide brief information about the applicant’s honors and awards as well as a summary of why this young lady or man is interested in serving as a page in the Kansas Legislature.
